The Add Device screen is used to register and map a tracking device to a vehicle within the system. This process links the device, SIM, and vehicle details to enable live tracking, reports, and analytics.
To get started:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Configuration→Add Device.
- Click on the ➕ icon on the taskbar below.
To add a device
- Select the reseller responsible for the device.
- Select the company or create new under which the device will be added.
- Choose the branch or create new of the selected company.
- Assign the device to a specific user (optional).
- If selected, the user will have direct access to the vehicle.
- You can create a new user as well.
- Enter the Vehicle Number.
- Select the Vehicle Type from the dropdown.
- Select the Vehicle Model from the dropdown.
- Enter the Sim number and Secondary Sim Number which is in the device.
- Enter the IMEI number of the device.
- Select the Device Model from the dropdown list.
- Select the Device Timezone from the dropdown list.
- Select the Installation Date.
- Select the fuel consumption is based on Distance or Duration.
- Enter the Fuel Consumption on duration basis.
- Based on the Device Model you will get all the sensor list.
- You can activate the port.
- Select the allocation of the port.
- You can mention the reading type as direct or indirect.
- Enabling the work hour check box will allow you to get the work hour calculation.
- Click on the Save 💾 button.
