[Create Trip](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/smartbus?hsLang=en#create-trip) # Create Trip The ***Create Trip*** module allows you to set up and manage transportation routes for students. It provides flexibility and control over trip setup and management. Whether creating trips manually, via playback, or in bulk, the system supports multiple options for configuring routes, assigning students, and managing schedules efficiently. There are **two main ways to create trips:** 1. **Manual Trip Creation**—For creating or customizing individual trips step-by-step. 2. **Bulk Trip Creation**—For creating multiple trips at once using an Excel file. ### To Get Started - Log in to your account. - Go to **Settings \> Master \> Create Trip.** The page you land on is the Create Trip overview screen, where you can have a look at all the created trip records. #### **Manual Trip Creation** - Users can create trips step-by-step, configuring each element manually. - There are three modes to create the trip in manual: - [**Manual Mode**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/smartbus/manual-trip-creation?hsLang=en)—Create a trip from scratch without using existing references. - [**Copy from Another Trip**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/smartbus/copy-from-trip?hsLang=en) – Reuse the path or route of an already created trip. - [**Playback Mode**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/smartbus/create-trip-with-playback?hsLang=en)—Use a GPS-recorded route (from a previously driven path) to create a trip. #### **Bulk Trip Creation** - Use this method when you need to create multiple trips simultaneously.
