Device Log
The Device Log screen allows users to retrieve the latest data received from a specific device using its IMEI number. It provides a quick view of the most recent device communication, including location, ignition status, power status, speed, odometer reading, timestamps, and the raw data string received from the device. This information is useful for troubleshooting device connectivity, verifying data transmission, and analyzing the latest device status.
This report is available in Trakzee Lite, Trakzee Standard, Trakzee Premium and Smart Waste management
Before you get started
To use the Device Log, enter the device's IMEI Number and click the search icon. The system will fetch and display the details from the latest data string received from the device, including device information, location data, status parameters, and the raw packet transmitted by the device.
Note: The displayed information is based on the most recent data packet received from the device. If the device has not transmitted data recently, the information shown may not reflect its current status. Additionally, data can only be viewed for the last 7 days.

- Go to Reports→Logs→System Log
Report Explaination
The Device Log report provides the most recent data received from a device based on its IMEI number. It helps users quickly verify whether a device is communicating with the platform and review the latest information transmitted by the device. The report displays key device details such as location, ignition status, power status, speed, odometer reading, timestamps, and the raw data string received from the device.
This report is commonly used for device troubleshooting, communication verification, and analyzing the latest packet received from a tracking device.

- IMEI Number : Enter the IMEI number and click on search button.
- Company : Displays the company to which the device is assigned.
- Branch : Shows the branch under which the device is registered.
- Vehicle : Displays the vehicle, asset, or object associated with the device.
- Device Model : Shows the model of the tracking device.
- SIM No : Displays the SIM card number configured in the device, if available.
- IMEI No : Displays the unique IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number of the device.
- Latitude : Shows the latitude coordinate from the latest data packet received.
- Longitude : Shows the longitude coordinate from the latest data packet received.
- Ignition : Indicates the ignition status reported in the latest device data.
- ON – Vehicle ignition is active.
- OFF – Vehicle ignition is inactive.
- Power : Displays the external power status of the device.
- Speed : Shows the speed reported by the device in the latest data packet.
- Odometer : Displays the total distance travelled as reported by the device.
- Data Actual Time : Shows the timestamp generated by the device when the data packet was created.
- Data Received Time : Displays the timestamp when the server received the data packet.
- Status : Indicates the processing or communication status of the latest device packet.
- Data String : Displays the raw data packet received from the device. This can be useful for advanced troubleshooting, protocol verification, and device integration analysis.
- Download Data From : Select the start date and time for downloading device log data.
- Download Data To : Select the end date and time for downloading device log data.
Note: Device log data can only be downloaded for the last 7 days.
