Driver Alert

The Driver Alert report provides a summary of alerts generated based on driver activities and driving behavior during a selected period. It helps fleet managers monitor driver performance, identify unsafe driving patterns, and analyze alert occurrences related to drivers.

The report displays alert statistics including alert type, severity level, alert duration, and the total number of alerts generated by each driver. Users can further drill down into detailed alert records to view the exact location, vehicle, alert information, and notification status.

This report is useful for improving driver safety, reducing operational risks, and ensuring compliance with fleet management policies.

This report is available in Trakzee Lite, Trakzee Standard, Trakzee Premium and Smart Waste management

Before you get started

Before using this report, ensure that:

  • Drivers are created and assigned to vehicles.
  • Vehicles are actively transmitting data.
  • Driver identification and assignment are properly configured.
  • Alert settings are enabled for the required alert types.
  • Notification settings (SMS/Email) are configured if required.
  • You have permission to access Alert reports.

To Open Driver Alert

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to Reports→Alert→Driver Alert

Filter Explanation

  • Company : Select a specific company or choose All to view driver alerts from all companies.
  • Branch : Allows users to filter alerts by branch.
  • Date Selection : Select the date range for which driver alerts should be displayed.
    • Examples:
      • Today
      • Yesterday
      • Last 7 Days
      • Last Month
      • Custom Date Range
  • Time Range : Enable this option to specify a custom time interval within the selected date range.
  • Alert Type : Allows users to filter records by specific alert categories.
    • Examples:
      • Over Speed
      • Zone Overspeeding
      • Harsh Acceleration
      • Harsh Braking
      • RPM High
      • RPM Low
      • Night Driving
      • Idle
      • Nonstop Drive
      • Geofence Alerts
      • Temperature Alerts
  • Severity : Filters alerts according to their severity level.
    • Examples:
      • Low
      • Medium
      • High
      • Critical
      • All
  • Driver Selection : Allows users to select one or multiple drivers whose alert information needs to be displayed.
  • Features:
    • Search drivers using the search box.
    • Select individual drivers.
    • Select multiple drivers simultaneously.
    • Expand or collapse company groups.
    • Refresh the driver list when required.
  • Apply :Generates the report using the selected filters.
  • Export Options :
    • XLS – Export report data to Excel format.
    • PDF – Export report data to PDF format.
    • CSV – Export report data to CSV format.

Report Explanation

Summary View

Displays driver-wise alert statistics including alert type, severity, alert duration, and total alert count.

  • Company : Displays the company to which the driver belongs.
  • Branch : Shows the branch associated with the driver.
  • Driver : Displays the name of the driver who generated the alert.
  • Contact No : Shows the driver's contact number.
  • Employee No : Displays the employee identification number assigned to the driver.
  • Alert Type : Shows the category of alert generated.

      • RPM Low
      • Idle
      • Night Driving
      • Harsh Acceleration
      • Harsh Braking
      • Temperature
      • Nonstop Drive
      • Geofence Alerts
  • Severity : Displays the priority level assigned to the alert.
    • Examples:
      • Low
      • Medium
      • High
      • Critical
  • Alert Duration (HH:MM:SS) : Shows the cumulative duration for which the alert condition remained active.
  • No of Alerts : Displays the total number of alert occurrences generated by the driver during the selected period.

Detail View

Displays individual alert occurrences with location details, vehicle information, alert descriptions, and notification status.

  • Alert Generation Time : Displays the exact date and time when the alert was generated.
  • Alert Location : Shows the location where the alert occurred.
  • Vehicle : Displays the vehicle associated with the alert event.
  • Alert Info : Provides detailed information about the alert.
    • Examples:
      • Over Speed greater than 70 km/h
      • RPM exceeded configured threshold
      • Idle duration exceeded limit
      • Temperature crossed configured value
  • The field may also display configured limits, actual values, and event duration.
  • Alert Duration (HH:MM:SS) : Shows the duration of the individual alert event.
  • SMS : Indicates whether an SMS notification was sent for the alert.
    • Possible values:
      • ✓ Sent
      • ✗ Not Sent
  • Email : Indicates whether an email notification was sent for the alert.
    • Possible values:
      • ✓ Sent
      • ✗ Not Sent
