Alert Status

The Alert Status report provides detailed information about alerts generated by vehicles or assets during a selected period. It displays alert occurrences, severity levels, alert duration, location details, driver information, and alert closure status.

The report helps users monitor active and historical alerts, track alert resolution activities, review closure remarks, and ensure compliance with operational procedures. It is particularly useful for analyzing alert incidents and verifying whether alerts have been acknowledged, investigated, and closed appropriately.

This report is available in Trakzee Standard, Trakzee Premium and Smart Waste management

Before You Get Started

Before using this report, ensure that:

  • Vehicles/assets are configured in the system.
  • Alert rules are properly configured and active.
  • Drivers are assigned to vehicles where applicable.
  • Devices are transmitting live or historical data.
  • Alert closure workflows are configured.
  • Users have permission to access Alert reports.
  • Alert events have been generated during the selected period.

To Open Alert Status

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to Reports → Alert →Alert Status

Filter Explanation

  • Company : Select a specific company or choose All to display alert records from all companies.
  • Branch : Allows users to filter alert records by branch.
  • Alert : Select the specific alert type to be displayed.
    • Examples:
      • Over Speed
      • RPM High
      • RPM Low
      • Temperature
      • Fuel Alerts
      • Geofence Alerts
      • Driver Behavior Alerts
  • Severity : Filters alerts based on severity level.
    • Examples:
      • Low
      • Medium
      • High
      • Critical
      • All
  • From Date : Select the start date and time for the report period.
  • To Date : Select the end date and time for the report period.
  • Time Range : Enable this option to define a specific time interval within the selected date range.
  • Apply : Generates the report using the selected filters.
  • Update Filter : Updates and saves the current filter configuration.
  • Delete Filter : Removes a previously saved filter configuration.
  • Export Options :
    • XLS – Export report data to Excel format.
    • PDF – Export report data to PDF format.

Report Explanation

The Alert Status report displays complete alert lifecycle information, including when the alert occurred, who was involved, where it happened, how long it lasted, and whether it was closed or acknowledged.

The report is useful for monitoring unresolved alerts, auditing alert handling processes, and reviewing operational incidents.

  • Alert Date Time : Displays the date and time when the alert was generated.
  • Company : Shows the company associated with the alert event.
  • Branch : Displays the branch where the alert occurred.
  • Vehicle : Shows the vehicle or object that generated the alert.
  • Driver : Displays the driver assigned to the vehicle at the time of the alert.
  • Contact No : Shows the driver's contact number.
  • Employee No : Displays the employee identification number of the driver.
  • Alert : Shows the category of alert generated.
    • Examples:
      • Over Speed
      • RPM High
      • RPM Low
      • Temperature
      • Fuel Alerts
      • Geofence Alerts
  • Severity : Displays the priority level assigned to the alert.
    • Possible values include:
      • Low
      • Medium
      • High
      • Critical
  • Alert Information : Provides detailed information about the alert event.
    • Examples:
      • RPM High
      • Over Speed greater than 70 km/h
      • Temperature exceeded threshold
      • Fuel Pilferage detected
    • This field may also display configured limits, actual values, and duration details.
  • Duration: Displays the length of time the alert condition remained active.
    • Format:
      • HH:MM:SS
  • Location : Shows the location where the alert was generated.
    • The location may include:
      • Address information
      • Nearby landmark details
      • Distance from a known location
      • GPS-based location description
  • Alert Closure By : Displays the name of the user who closed or acknowledged the alert.
  • Alert Closure Time : Shows the date and time when the alert was closed.
  • Reason : Displays the reason entered while closing the alert.

      • False Alert
      • Issue Resolved

      • Driver Explanation
  • Comment : Displays comments or remarks associated with the alert.This field helps provide additional context regarding the alert investigation or closure.
  • SOP : Displays the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) associated with the alert, if configured.Users can review the recommended action steps for handling the alert type.
