The Travel History Report provides a chronological view of vehicle travel activity for a selected period. It displays trip start and end locations, travel duration, speed information, distance traveled, running time, idle time, stop time, and generated alerts. Before You Get Started

  • This report uses the Status of the Ignition sensor to generate data for Running, Idle & Stop.
    • To know more about ignition sensor configuration, Click here.

Please Note:

Idle Time: To calculate Idle Time, the Ignition sensor must be configured.

Running & Stop Time: If the Ignition sensor is not configured, Running and Stop Time will be calculated based on vehicle speed:

  • Running Time: Speed > 5
  • Stop Time: Speed < 5

In such cases,

  • Idle duration will not be available.
  • Running and stop calculations will be based solely on movement detection.
  • The report displays data related to Alert Count. To view accurate data, the required alert configurations must be completed.
    • Alert: Displays the total number of alerts generated by the vehicle during the selected reporting period. Alert configurations must be set up to receive data in this column.
  • The report uses GPS coordinates received from the tracking device to determine Start and End Locations. These coordinates are converted into readable addresses using reverse geocoding services.

Please Note:

  •

The location displayed in the report is generated using GPS coordinates and reverse geocoding services.

  • When using map providers other than OSM (OpenStreetMap), the corresponding geocoding and address lookup services must be enabled in the configured Map API.

  • If reverse geocoding services are not enabled or configured correctly, GPS coordinates may be displayed instead of address information, or location details may not be available.
