Pair Device is a feature in the application that lets you connect several devices installed in vehicles. If you need to install multiple devices in one vehicle, you can use this feature to easily link the devices. This way, you'll receive an alert only when all the connected devices are inactive at the same time.
Please Note: Pair Device module is included only in the Standard and the Premium version.
To get started
- Login to your account
- Go to Settings > General > Pair Device
The page you land on is the pair device overview page where you can have a look at all your paired device records.
To pair the devices
- Click on the ➕ button on the taskbar.
- Select the Reseller and Company under which you want to pair the devices, from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Primary Object from the dropdown list.
- Select the Secondary Object from the dropdown list.
Multiple secondary objects can be selected from the list to pair with a single primary object.
- Click on the save 💾 icon to pair the devices.
Please Note: You need to set the Inactive alert only on the Primary Object. You will receive the Inactive alert only when all the devices that are paired will go Inactive at the same time.
To download multiple records
- You can use the Export button (at the bottom of the page) to download the paired device data in .xls format.
