Humidity sensors are used to measure the humidity levels inside vehicles, such as trucks, trailers, and containers. This data can be used to monitor the condition of the cargo and the interior of the vehicles and can help to prevent damage to temperature-sensitive goods caused by moisture.
To get started
- Login to your account
- Go to Settings > General > Object
- Double-click on the record for which you want to set the humidity
- Navigate to Sensor.
To calibrate sensor
Please Note: Humidity sensors always comes integrated with temperature sensor. You should have a temperature sensor if you want to activate a humidity sensor.
- Activate the analog port connection type by clicking on the checkbox given in the Active column.
- Click on the dropdown of Connected Sensor and select Humidity.
- Click on the Calibration button. A new window will appear.
- Enter Multiplication factor
A multiplication factor is a value used to multiply another number or value. This value will differ from device to device. It provides you with the actual value by correcting the unit factor.

- From the dropdown of Connection Type select the temperature sensor from which you want to derive humidity.
- From the dropdown of Connection Type select the temperature sensor from which you want to derive humidity.
Please Note: Temperature sensor mainly provides data in direct values for ex- 10ºC.
If your device provides data in Voltage then you have to configure the same here.

- Click on the checkbox of Voltage if your device sends the data in voltage.
- You can add individual voltage ranges and humidity by clicking on the ➕ icon.

- Click on the checkbox of Voltage if your device sends the data in voltage.
You can also upload XLS file mentioning different voltage ranges and humidity.

- Click on Upload Calibration via XLS to upload XLS file.
- Download a sample file and fill the same with the required details.
- Click on the ➕ button to upload the file. A new window will open.
- Click on choose file and upload the file from your computer.
- Click on Save 💾 button.

- Click on the save 💾 button on the temperature calibration window to save the entire configuration.
