Calibrate humidity sensors

Humidity sensors are used to measure the humidity levels inside vehicles, such as trucks, trailers, and containers. This data can be used to monitor the condition of the cargo and the interior of the vehicles and can help to prevent damage to temperature-sensitive goods caused by moisture.

To get started

  • Login to your account
  • Go to  Settings > General > Object
  • Double-click on the record for which you want to set the humidity
  • Navigate to Sensor.

To calibrate sensor

Please Note: Humidity sensors always comes integrated with temperature sensor. You should have a temperature sensor if you want to activate a humidity sensor.

  • Activate the analog port connection type by clicking on the checkbox given in the Active column.
  • Click on the dropdown of Connected Sensor and select Humidity.

    Configure Humidity Sensors
  • Click on the Calibration button. A new window will appear.
    • Enter Multiplication factor

A multiplication factor is a value used to multiply another number or value. This value will differ from device to device. It provides you with the actual value by correcting the unit factor.

    • From the dropdown of Connection Type select the temperature sensor from which you want to derive humidity.
