Beacon Tab on Live Tracking Screen

On the left side of the live tracking screen is a listing window that consolidates all the beacon details in a single location.

The Beacon tab offers a comprehensive summary of the beacons, including their connection status—indicating whether they are connected or disconnected.

Additionally, it provides essential information such as the associated object, its location, RSSI, and distance value, facilitating effective monitoring of the beacons.

To view the Beacon tab, go to the Listing Panel > Beacon tab.

When a specific beacon is selected, the system will visually highlight its location on the map, improving your ability to locate and track beacons effectively.

It consists of the following features and details:

Beacon Status Bar

Beacon status is displayed in color-coded form on the beacon status bar. This shows the number of beacons in a particular status, as shown in the below image:

Below given are the color codes:

Ellipse 2

Connected

Beacons that are currently connected to the device will be displayed in this category.

Ellipse 4

Disconnected

Beacons that are currently disconnected from the device will be listed here, along with information regarding the last connected object.

Search Bar

From here, a user can perform actions on the beacon records.

Below given are the actions that can be performed:

  1. Search Box: Utilizing the search box, users can efficiently search specific beacons.

  2. Filter: Users have the ability to filter tailers based on Company and Branch by utilizing the Filter option.
  3. Sorting: Users can sort or organize the beacon data based on either the RSSI (signal strength) or Distance value, allowing for a more efficient analysis of the information.

Beacon Information

All the beacon information can be viewed here in one place.

Following is the type of information that can be viewed in the beacon information list:

  • Beacon Name: The name of the trailer will be displayed.

  • Timestamp: The date and time of the beacon's connection will be displayed below the beacon name. 
  • Object Number: The vehicle's plate number will be displayed following the beacon name.
  • Location: The real-time location of the beacon will be dislayed. 
  • RSSI: The signal strength of the beacon connection will be presented in dBm, providing a clear indication of the connection quality.
  • Distance: The distance between the beacon and the associated object will be presented in meters, offering a precise measurement for better assessment.
