[Manufacturer](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140?hsLang=en#manufacturer) # Edit Manufacturer Account The Manufacturer oversees the platform's functionality, which includes creating users, assigning roles, and managing permissions. Manufacturer account will be created by the super Manufacturer and transferred to the designated user. Once in possession of the account, users will have the ability to modify and update the Manufacturer account specifications to suit their specific requirements. ### To Get Started - Log in to your **Manufacturer** account. - Go to **Settings \> General \> Manufacturer.** - Double-click on the account you want to configure. - You will land on the Manufacturer page. ### To Configure an Manufacturer Account #### Navigate to **My Account** - You can edit the **Country** and **State** from the drop-down menu. - **Short Name** and **Username** will be provided by the super Manufacturer. - If you wish to [**Change Password**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/change-account-password?hsLang=en)of your Manufacturer account, then click on the link given. - If you wish to set a[**Security Pin**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/enable-security-pin?hsLang=en), click on the checkbox. **Please Note:** The security pin, once created, cannot be altered or viewed again. Therefore, it is essential to remember this pin for future reference.  - You can easily upload your [**Logo**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/upload-logo?hsLang=en). - Enter the **Password Recovery Email** address on which the password reset link will be sent while performing [**Reset password.**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/reset-password?hsLang=en) - Enter your **Address** details like **City, Zip code, Street1, Street2** etc. - Enter your [**Helpdesk Details.**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/help-desk-details-on-manufacturer?hsLang=en) - Enter your **Fax Number.** - Enter a **Welcome Message** that will be displayed on the startup screen upon user login. - Enter **GSTIN** number of your organization. ( For Indian Server Only ) - Enter **PAN No** number of your organization. ( For Indian Server Only ) - **Data Storage** will be provisioned for your account by default**.** This period determines the number of days the Manufacturer can access and analyze data on the platform. For example, if set to 90 days, the user will have access to analytics for the past 90 days. **Please Note:** Data Storage will be for 90 days by default. If you need to increase the number of days, please contact us. **Watch :** How to Configure Manufacturer User Setting. #### **Navigate to User Settings** The User Settings section in the Manufacturer account enables users to customize their preferences according to their specific needs for various platform features. - You can change the **Time Zone** from the predefined options. This selected timezone will be used to display analytics in the application. - You can edit [**Date and Time**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/change-date-and-time-format?hsLang=en)Format, which will be used to show analytics in the entire application. - Select the **Week Start Day.** The application will produce weekly reports based on the start day of the week that has been configured on your Manufacturer account. - **Report Filter based on:** You can configure if the Object selection list in filter should load based on Object Name or IMEI or VIN/Chassis No. ![](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-09-2026-08-54-29-7373-AM.jpeg?width=296&height=446&name=undefined-Feb-09-2026-08-54-29-7373-AM.jpeg) - **Show Watermark:** Select the checkbox if you wish to display a watermark on the reports when exporting them in the provided formats. - **Smooth Live Tracking:** Select the checkbox if you wish to provide the smooth live tracking feature. - Generate [**API Access Code**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/api-access-code?hsLang=en) and add it. - Setup [**Immobilization**](https://helpdesk.uffizio.com/knowledge/ais140/setup-immobilization-rights-for-vehicles?hsLang=en)if required. - **Immobilization via parking mode**: If this option is enabled, the vehicle will be immobilized if an unauthorized person attempts to move it while it is in parking mode.
